San Diego cramp-packed adventure of death

Danya is here from Phoenix! She was so nice to join us on our quick tour of the San Diego area. We went to Old Town, Point Loma, Seaport Village and a sunset all in one day!

Jumping with joy in a covered wagon at the Mormon Battalion Visitor's Center. They have done a really good job updating the place, and you can see our friend, Andrew, as the lead in the movie!!

Channing, Holly, Cason, Cameron, and Tyson. Wagons West!!

Panning for gold... No luck...

Cafe Coyote in Old Town. Absolutely delicious!!

Cabrillo National Monument on Point Loma. Jaun Cabrillo landed here in the 1500's. He was the first dude in California.

Statue of Cabrillo. We are the group of kids waving on the right.

At the old Point Loma lighthouse. Devin is paying homage to his favorite area of California at Patrick's Point.

Cousins Tyson and Cason

The view from Point Loma

I think this thing was built in the 1800's, but it was too high for the boats to see, so they built another one lower on the point.

The tide pools at Point Loma... Slightly disappointing because the tide was too high. The conversation going on here is Devin asking Tyson why he is crying when we are the funnest place on earth.

The view from Seaport village. Fun place to wander around little shops and look at military ships, etc.

Pizza, finally!! We waited forever, but as you can see, it was thoroughly enjoyed.

Perfect way to end the day at the beach in Carlsbad.
