My Easter Weekend, by Tyson Spann

On Saturday, Mom and Dad took me to this really cool place with my cousins, Chandler and Preston Hemmert, where I could run around the grass and pick up pretty ball shaped things. Mom had been practicing with me the day before, and I don't think I did very well, but I guess I did fine on Saturday. Dad was sad because my little green bucket was so small.

I was ready to go WAY before they were going to ring the bell. I was mad at Mom and Dad because they kept bringing me back to the sidewalk.
Every time I found one I yelled, "Ball!," shook it, and then put it in my little bucket. I saw a bird and got a little distracted. I just wanted to see what it did when I barked at it and chased it. It ran away and my parents got be back to "ball" hunting.

At the end they gave me this yummy chocolate marshmallow bunny. My dad said, "Chocolate bunny equals success." I loved it.

On Easter Sunday we went to my Grandma and Grandpa Hemmert's house where we saw the real Easter bunny! My dad gave me a marshmallow peep, and instead of eating it I kissed it and gave it a hug. Dad ripped it in half and then I shoved the whole thing in my mouth.

We had dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Spann's house. My Aunt Claudia gave me an animal puzzle. I successfully carried the wooden giraffe all over the house.

Grandpa Spann played "Ring Around the Rosie" with me. Everyone laughed at me because I was so dizzy!
Overall, I'd have to say I had a very busy, but fun weekend!

Naughty boy

As most new parents learn, with new found mobility, there is also an entirely new world of discoveries to find and messes to make. This is Tyson first learning to walk.

This is Tyson finding his baby snacks...

getting into Grandma's curlers...

and emptying a baby powder bottle...(Which I don't think I've even used or remembered existed. It's amazing what they can find!)
